Are there no web drivers available. Also is z chipset supported? Jamesbond Moderator. Last edited: Dec 1, Jamesbond said:. The RTX graphics are not supported at this time due to the lack of Nvidia web drivers.
You should be able to run High Sierra or Mojave with a Z motherboard, but as already mentioned your graphics card won't work fully. You should have considered getting another graphics card if you objective is to run MacOS. That's why I thought whether if would be possible for RTX series. Will there be web drivers for the RTX series later, if not now?
I'm new to the forum and in the same position. I just bought a z mb and a gpu for what I hesitatingly intended to be a Windows build. I'm not a windows fan. I just learned the word hackintosh and was excited that I can maybe have the best of both worlds.
Everything is still in the boxes.
I can return it and get a TI or such, but my question is, since I already have it, will it work with High Sierra, but just not fully? Or will it not work at all? So if you want to use this build to run MacOS and Windows? Can you expand on exactly what you mean by "will not work fully".If you are looking to play p hz, there is no existing consumer CPU that is too powerful.
An ik will struggle to push a constant hz on all games, as would the Ryzen 8 x. Similarly, if you are choosing a Super and not a Tiwe assume you are looking for price-performance, or at least taking budget into account. With that in mind, our four recommendations in descending order for partners for the Super are:. Then, if you are either on a tight budget or really want to push your overclock, we have two more alternatives that we recommend to a lesser degree:.
A build based around the Super is a combination of awesome power but still reasonable budget.$30 MOTHERBOARD?! – Can it game?
The computer will be a gaming powerhouse, playing most titles in p at over FPS with high graphics quality, but if we really were not budget conscious, we would get a Ti and have the best available. So because we know we are on a budget, we want the absolute best bang-for-your-buck CPU that will allow the Super to work at full steam without holding anything back. And for that, the Ryzen 5 is the perfect complement.
With six cores and 12 threads and a boost up to 4. All in all, if you have a budget, this is the best CPU available to complement your Super and if you have any additional money, we would recommend buying this CPU and putting the extra cash into a more powerful GPU as the Ryzen will handle hz gaming easily for years to come. Team Blue is yet to release their 10 th generation processors that should compete more favorable with the newest Ryzen series CPUs, so for now, the best bang-for-your-buck processor from Intel is the ik f.
This single-thread performance is unmatched by anything AMD has to offer currently, and is one of the reasons that Intel is still king for current pure gaming needs. The f suffix denotes the lack of integrated graphics and since your build has a Super, if you can find the kf and save a few bucks, there is no need to have the integrated graphics of the k.
After all that, to explain why we have it listed second after the processor above, the reasons we prefer the Ryzen for a Super build are:.
Best CPUs for RTX 2070 Super Builds
So essentially, if you are really looking for pure performance today and will only use your new PC to game, and you have the extra cash and do not want to spend it on upgrading your GPU, the K is the CPU to choose.
But if you are on a budget or are thinking about a long-term build with potential upgrade pathsthe Ryzen may be a better choice. If you are planning on using your PC for the more than occasional productivity task, and you have the extra budget, the Ryzen x may be the perfect CPU for your build.
In comparison to the two CPUs above, the major advantage of the Ryzen x is the increased performance for non-gaming applications. With its 8 cores and 16 threads, the x offers a boost to any multi-threaded applications that can take advantage. If you are a believer that games will quickly be able to take advantage of a 16 thread processor or stream regulalry, than perhaps the x will be more appealing than the k.
But considering the major advantage of the vs the K is pricing, and the and the x perform almost the same for gaming, its hard to recommend the x for any gaming reasons.Skip to main content of results for "RTX ".

It competes impressively against its more expensive counterparts like the Z Aorus Master in handling productivity, gaming, and synthetic workloads, and overclocks just as well too. While it gets noticeably more power-hungry than most other boards under heavy load, the Gaming Pro Carbon does an above-average job at keeping its VRM and overall board temperature down.
Matching the target audience of the iK excellently, the MSI MPG Z Gaming Pro Carbon brings the extra compatibility of the Z chipset, impressive overclocking and performance, and a full range of useful features to a budget-friendly enthusiast price point. Plus, everybody knows that the RGB lighting makes it run way faster, right? With great power comes great heat, however, and this board has a no-compromises policy when it comes to cooling.
Even the M. The Strix ZG trades blows with its similarly-priced full-size ATX counterparts in terms of compatibility, performance, and overclocking. With two x16 PCIe slots to be used as either one x16 or two x8 slotsdedicated M. While the ZI matches the overclocking performance of its big brother, the full ATX ZE, the fewer power phases on the smaller board lead to somewhat higher power draw and heat output, which explains the need for the monolith of heatsinks covering almost half of the motherboard.
By matching the performance of its larger counterparts and exceeding our expectations in terms of features and compatibility for its miniscule size, the ASUS ROG Strix ZI justifies its marginally higher price and earns our pick for best mini ITX board for the iK.

I love this Graka he is perfekt i think nividia is good but cost more than amd this bad but all in all its a good Graka!!!!!
Highly recommend you to buy the super instead. Slightly better than theand similarly priced. Bought on the 29th of Jan - I'll let you know computer: Osiris. The offers slightly more raw performance than the at a similar price, so it's a better option.
It's not the kind of improvement someone would expect after 2. Without content using its raytracing capabilities, it's impossible to give a complete conclusion.
Great gpu, mine in particular outperforms the super so super is not worth it for me at all, why buy something when yours cost the same and performs better. While the promised rtx seems to be out of reach for this rtx model, it still constantly performs better then with equal or cheaper price.
Here come the ROG and ASUS GeForce RTX 2070 graphics cards
It was easy to overclock with my xc gaming to around clock speed, around 75 degrees full load gaming with fan curve adjustment. Way overpriced for a mid-range card. Its got great performance, Its not as pricey as the other top shelf GPU's out there, overall great bang for the buck. Runs most 4k games at 60fps on high to ultra settings, does well in most of my workloads.

However, this might mean leaving performance on the table depending upon your choice of CPU and motherboard. But I think there are better options available in the X product stack.
Ryzen processors have relied on Infinity Fabric from the start, which relies on memory speed to reduce latency — making this an important factor when considering any motherboard for AMD Ryzen CPUs.
Pretty much all newer boards should support those speeds. However, this factor does become far less critical when considering motherboards for 8 and 6-core 3 rd Gen Ryzen processors.
Make sure you consider the number of M. The chipset dictates a lot of the features that you can or cannot use with your CPU. Pick carefully.
For Ryzen 9 and 7, I think the X chipset is the way to go for professionals. The extra PCI-E 4. On the other hand, for Ryzen 5 processors and Xa B motherboard will suffice. The number of USB and other back-panel ports on a motherboard is yet another important factor for those who often find themselves hunting for free ports. The 7nm Zen 2 architecture is relatively new; there are bound to be some teething issues at the start. However, this motherboard has an E-ATX form factor.
Make sure that your PC cabinet supports it before going ahead with the purchase.
Nonetheless, I consider this a bonus, if anything, considering the extensive features of this motherboard. An included M. These are the most prominent features on this board. You should hit the MHz mark with a decent RAM kitno problem — even when running quad-memory configurations. The back panel is heaven for those who love their USB ports. I sure do!
However, the M. It allows you to make use of all the extra bandwidth that comes with PCI-E 4. Note — If you only need additional M.
Not only can it handle the top-end parts from the 3 rd Generation Ryzen like the Xbut it is also reliable enough to handle the upcoming core monster Ryzen 9 X as well.
Some swear by Intel LAN and will scoff at anything or anyone that says Realtek, mostly due to experience. You can find the QVL list here. In addition to being very internal peripheral-friendly, the Hero has extensive back-panel connectivity with 12 USB ports, gold-plated audio jacks, and dual-LAN ports. Recommended for Ryzen 9 only X. Although other X motherboards do have three slots, this is one of the few that gives you three that run using 8 PCI-E 4.
It does come with dual LAN: 2. You might run into issues when populating both M. Also, you do have the option of a U. It is considered one of the best motherboards out there for both Ryzen 9 and Ryzen 7 processors, with good reason. Not only do you lose access to 2. Funnily, it also comes equipped with 2. The X Aorus Elite packs enough power to run the X, X, and the X easily — allowing them to boost as high as they possibly can.The list contains motherboards that have the appropriate graphics card interface, and takes into account several other features including SLI and Crossfire.
